Nile Delta

The Nile Delta is located on the Egyptian coast of the Mediterranean sea. The Nile river serves as a source of water for many
organisms, not only for animals and plants but for people as well. The Nile river is often called the breadbasket of Egypt because it
is one of the only water sources in this dry and arid environment. People have used this river for centuries as a resource to grow
their crops, and animals (such as birds and crocodiles) have used it as a nesting ground and food source for their daily lives. They
also use as a means of transportation for the many cities that are along its coast. The Nile is also the only river that flows north,
the reason for this is because it just flows down hill from the mountains to the sea.
